RALPH SUTTON MEMORIAL AWARD
PAT HARNESS

A longtime participant in our sport, Pat Harness has bowled in a number of leagues, including the Wednesday and Thursday Mixed.  It didn’t take long for her to become an active member on league executives, and going on to play a prominent role with the Carman Bowlers' Association.

An accountant by trade, Pat was a perfect choice to join the CBA executive as Treasurer, and did so in fall of 1995, when the previous executive took over the reigns of the Central Manitoba Bowlers’ Association.  She has worked with the CBA alongside her husband Ken, who has served as President, as well as with former Ralph Sutton Memorial Award recipient Laura Knaggs.

As she and Ken move on to semi-retirement in BC, we wish to recognize her significant contributions to the sport of 5 pin bowling in the Carman area.

Our choice for the 2001 RALPH SUTTON MEMORIAL AWARD is PAT HARNESS.

Welcome to the Online Home of the Carman Bowlers' Association

On April 28, 1999, with the blessing of his family, the Carman Bowlers' Association established the Ralph Sutton Memorial Award in his memory. The award will be presented annually in recognition of outstanding service and dedication to the sport of 5 pin bowling in the Carman area. In other words, it's the kind of award we should have
given to Ralph.
